You are the author of your life and your work, and a coach can help you discover your personal and professional potential and guide you to think outside of the box.  Coaching is about creating and implementing a powerful vision for your life.  It is a process that helps you to generate strategies and solutions that are best for You!

Coaching isn’t therapy.  The focus of therapy is often about emotional healing and resolving difficulties from the past that might keep you from moving forward.  Coaching, however, focuses on where you are now and what you are willing to do to get to where you want to be in the future.  Coaching creates accountability and actionable strategies and next steps for achieving specific goals.

As coaches, we believe that you are naturally creative and resourceful.  While many people believe they aren’t creative, the truth is, everyone is creative.  Our creativity shows up in unique and extraordinary ways.  We see in you the ability to creatively find answers and choose actions that give you the life you most want to live.  We also believe that you have the ability to bounce back when things don’t go as you planned and you will continue to grow and learn new creative ways of maneuvering life’s challenges.  Our role as coaches is to become curious and open to new possibilities as we discover with you what lies ahead.

So what is your vision?  And what’s in the way?  In other words, what’s holding you back from making the changes you desire in your life?

Coaching is not about giving advice or telling people what they should and shouldn’t do.  Coaching is about having a conversation with you to help you find your inner truth and embracing it.  A coach will help to identify and remove the obstacles and roadblocks that keep you stuck, allowing you to open your mind and to begin to visualize a world of new possibilities.

So, let’s start right now… what do you need to live the life YOU love?

If you’re curious about coaching, come find us at the conference—we’d love to discover with you.  And, for more information about ICAN’s coaching program go to: programs/individual-leadership-coaching/
