Women’s Leadership Conference 2016
We were excited to have 2,500 leaders with us on April 6 – our largest yet! If you didn’t get a chance to register, we hope to see you next year – SAVE THE DATE for the 24th Annual ICAN Women’s Leadership Conference: April 19, 2017.
ICAN’s annual Women’s Leadership Conference – held for over 20 years in Omaha, Nebraska – is known to be powerful, insightful and authentic, representative of the leadership trends and transformations present in today’s workplace. In 2015 we hosted 2,350 leaders from 24 states and are ready for an even more powerful day in 2016.
Join us on April 6, 2016 to make SHIFT happen. Our theme is TRANSFORMATION – how women in the United States have transformed the workplace, and the impact this transformation has had in business, philanthropy, and education. We will also offer insight into how women can CAPITALIZE on these transformations and are poised to make even greater transformations in the future.

Women represent 58% of the workforce, fast becoming our most educated workers – attending school at higher rates, entering a wide range of careers and deepening their work experience. Millennial women have more labor market equality than any previous generation. In a changing philanthropic landscape where women are influencing or solely making 90 percent of household charitable decisions, they are also emerging as the top networkers and catalysts in modern philanthropy, bringing people together to mobilize resources for various causes.
We will celebrate this monumental SHIFT – and explore what transformations still need to happen in our modern workplace. We’ll also highlight some personal transformations that can bring leaders greater success in their careers, personal lives, and the community. ICAN is bringing in experts (read their guest blogs here!) to educate and inspire attendees to capitalize on the transformations in:
