Karen Baldwin

Karen is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Baldwin Group, an organization focused on strengthening the results of leaders and teams. She provides high-impact training, consulting and coaching services to individuals, teams, non-profits and corporations. Prior to starting The Baldwin Group, Karen was Senior Vice President/Retail Over her extensive 25 year career with Commercial Federal/Bank of the West, Karen held a variety of leadership positions. Karen has a passion for helping people develop into resilient leaders through coaching, mentoring, and creating personal transformation. Karen holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and received her coaching credentials from the Coaches Training Institution (CTI).


Nicole Bianchi, PCC,
SPHR, CLRP

 The focus of her work is to enable organizations to accelerate change; help leaders develop themselves and their associates; understand, plan and move through change; and to build teams to deliver exceptional results. Nicole founded Resolution Partners in 2010 to develop and establish unique people strategies and programs to enhance revenue and maximize shareholder value – and partners with ICAN in our shared mission of inspiring leaders to see more and think beyond current ways of working and developing leaders to navigate the business environment of today and tomorrow in co-facilitating ICAN’s IMPACT program. Her clients include Fortune 10, 100 & 500 global companies in the areas of: Strategic Planning, Innovative Leadership Development, High Impact Human Resources, Organizational Capability Development Coaching Leaders & Teams and using their expertise to make it happen faster and more effectively. Previously Nicole worked as an executive leader for ConAgra Foods and for Markel specializing in the development of solutions to solve organizational and business needs. Nicole earned her coaching certification through the Hudson Institute of Coaching and The International Coaching Federation attaining PCC status. She has also earned her senior professional human resources certification through the Society for Human Resources Management. Nicole has completed a host of post–‐graduate executive leadership programs including Stanford University’s Executive Education in Strategy, Planning and Organization and the University of Michigan’s Executive Education in Strategic Human Resources. Nicole is certified in a variety of assessments and tools including: MBTI, HBDI, Emergenetics and DiSC.

Todd DarnoldTodd Darnold, PhD

 Todd received his undergraduate degree from Iowa State University and his Ph.D. from the University of Iowa. Todd’s academic work has been published in outlets such as The Journal of Applied Psychology, Leadership Quarterly, Personnel Review, The Journal of Change Management, The APA Handbook of Psychology, and The Oxford Handbook of Recruitment. Todd’s purpose in life is to help people – particularly managers and future managers – create environments where they can flourish, and in turn, help the people around them flourish. He currently co-facilitates ICAN’s IMPACT program.

AmyKopleanAmy Dorn Kopelan

Previously at ABC Television, ABC News and Good Morning America, Kopelan currently serves as an independent consultant and program leader for ICAN’s Creating Leadership Presence. She is recognized for her boundary-breaking producing style, her inventive methodology, and her creative interaction.

Dawn Gelderloos

  Dawn partners with individuals, executives, entrepreneurs and other professionals to improve the quality of their personal and professional lives.  She specializes in leadership and career development, work and life transitions, and identifying life goals and purpose so clients can reach their full potential. Dawn brings over 30 years of experience to the coaching and training fields and shares her expertise with clients through coaching, teaching/facilitating and consulting.  She works with individuals, teams and organizations who are committed to improving organizational cultures, work satisfaction and performance. She is passionate about developing high performing teams, utilizing effective and empowered communication and discovering individual and team resourcefulness. In Colorado, Dawn works with law and engineering firms, high tech companies, government municipalities, contracting companies and school districts across the Front Range.  In Omaha, she has worked with First National Bank, Pay Pal, Benaissance (now WEX Health) Lamp, Rynearson and Associates and Olsson Associates. Dawn has been a faculty member for the Institute of Career Advancement Needs (ICAN) for over 10 years and was instrumental in the curriculum design for ICAN’s Defining Leadership Program Series.  She has facilitated this program in Omaha, Denver and Vancouver, B.C.  Dawn received her undergraduate degree from Hampshire College in Amherst, MA and her Master’s Degree from Yale University.

The founder and lead strategist at SageRiver Consulting, Susan is known for illuminating possibility and igniting change. Her firm provides strategic consulting and organizational development services to corporate, government and nonprofit clients across a variety of industries. Her core services include strategic planning, organizational design, leadership development, coaching and teambuilding.
Susan mentors emerging leaders as an adjunct faculty member in management, teaching graduate courses on Critical Leadership Skills, Leading Individuals and Teams, Leading Organizational Change, Human Behavior in Organizations and Strategic Management, among others.  Her faculty positions include the business schools of the University of Colorado at Denver, Denver University and the University of Colorado at Boulder, where she was recognized with the Marinus Smith Award for Teaching Excellence.
In addition, she is a sought-after speaker at conferences, offering engaging presentations on Authentic Leadership, Leading Narrative:  The Power of Storytelling, Employee Engagement, Strategic Planning for transformation and more.
Susan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business management, sociology and accounting from Luther College and a Master’s in Business Administration in management and finance from the University of Colorado at Denver, where she was nominated as the outstanding graduate student of her cohort. Susan is certified in and administers numerous research-based individual and team diagnostics, including Emergenetics, the EQ-i2.0, EQ360, Team Emotional Social Intelligence survey (Tesi 2.0), and the Five Dysfunctions of a Team Assessment.

MartinMalley

Martin “Marty” Malley

He was previously a US Navy nuclear-powered submarine officer, having served in a variety of submarine and shore assignments before retiring at the rank of Commander. He was Executive Officer of the Trident submarine USS Nevada (SSBN 733) and Chief of Missile Strike Planning for US Strategic Command. He is trained in Co-Active coaching, having completed CTI Fundamentals, Fulfillment, Balance, Process and Synergy.His passion is for improving the quality of education and leadership in developing countries. He is currently engaged with the Opportunity Education Foundation on a continuing basis and does freelance IT management consulting focused on international partnerships.
